The past few days have been stressful for the family of Chennai Express producer Karim Morani after his daughters Shaza Morani and Zoa Morani tested positive for COVID-19. The Bollywood producer also tested positive for the deadly virus. Now, actress Zoa Morani has shared how she spends her days while in the hospital following a routine. She revealed that she finds it quite an experience at the hospital and mentioned how she thinks she was meant to go through it.
Speaking with Bombay Times from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital, in a recent interview, Zoa shared how it depends on exercise and TV shows to get through her entire day. Zoa revealed that when she was in isolation with her sister Shaza at home, she was quite sick. She shared that during that time she would divert her mind by enjoying all the jokes and forwards that her family was sending out. Zoa added, “I also began calling my old friends and making new friends on social media. I surprised myself. The self-quarantine period made me the exact opposite of what I was — a loner,” and mentioned how self-quarantine made her the opposite of the loner she was.
Outlining her daily routine at the hospital, Zoa mentioned that she begins her day at 6 AM, freshens up and does Pranayam. She added, “I also do a few exercises suggested by my doctor. The workout is followed by chai, and let me tell you, the hospital chai is really good.” Apart from talking about her love for the hospital chai, Zoa shared that she then gets on the phone with her family and they check on each other’s health. She also revealed that apart from binge-watching movies, web shows, and all the yapping, what keeps her going is her exercise.
Meanwhile, Zoa Morani who is recovering from COVID-19 also said, “Watching the doctors walking around in their spacesuits (the protective gear) makes me wonder… Am I on the moon?” While Zoa shared her vivid imagination about the protective gear the doctors put on, the actress added, “I must say, this is quite an experience, and I think I was meant to go through this.” On the other hand, as Zoa Morani thinks she was meant to go through this experience, her sister Shaza Morani’s last test was negative and the family awaits the next results.
